Our Mission

To dramatically reduce recidivism by meeting the core needs of every human; physiological, safety, relational, esteem, and self-actualization through housing, holistic coaching, and career development.

Our Vision

To See Men:

  • Become productive, responsible, and accountable members of society.
  • As pillars in their homes and the community at large.
  • Own businesses and invest their time, talent, and resources to provide jobs, opportunities, and wisdom to those who are going or have been where they were.
  • Go from hope deferred to creating lives worth living and leaving a legacy

Services

Stable Housing

Our participants will go through a 3-step interview process before being welcomed into a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that restores their dignity and give them hope for the future by offering community support, a family environment. The terms of their residency include chores, attending workshops or training, actively working with a coach or mentor, and abiding by general house rules.

Career Development

Our participants receive the tools, training and the resources necessary to become business owners or skills tradesmen to help them become independent, self-sufficient and self-sustaining. We help them see beyond a "job" and instead building a career based on their purpose, passion, and skills.

Coaching & Mentorship

Our participants receive one-on-one and group holistic coaching by certified coaches, licensed social workers, and/or mentors who aid them in addressing and overcoming life challenges, creating a plan of action for success, and to hold them accountable in fulfilling the future they desire. They each receive a resource journal and success planner to aid them in the growth and becoming independent.

Success Story

Bridging Visions has helped me on my reentry journey. I met with Ms. Dixon 1 week after being released from a 12 year prison sentence. She never judged me based on my past. Instead, she had a genuine concern for my well being. She helped me enroll in trade school to become a heavy equipment operator, followed by obtaining my CDL. I am now the Broker of Whaley Transportation and am in the process of creating a clothing line.

Our Why

At Bridging Visions After Prison, we witness the incredible power of hope and transformation every single day. Our hearts are fueled by the unwavering belief in second chances and the boundless potential that resides within every individual.

Imagine a world where a past mistake does not define one's future. Picture a society that embraces compassion, understanding, and support for those who have overcome the darkest chapters of their lives. This is the world we strive to create.

In the shadows of incarceration, we find individuals who are often forgotten, overlooked, and left to navigate a treacherous journey alone. They face countless obstacles, both internal and external, as they step back into a world that has changed. It is within these walls of uncertainty and fear that we extend our helping hand.

Our mission is to bridge the divide between reentry and a life filled with purpose, dignity, and fulfillment. We provide more than just temporary housing; we offer a sanctuary—a place of solace and healing. Here, individuals find the safety they long for, the support they crave, and the comfort they deserve.

We understand the weight of addiction, the depths of despair, and the insurmountable barriers that can stand in the way of progress. But we also know the resilience of the human spirit and the power of a supportive community. That is why we tirelessly work to break the cycle of recidivism, to shatter the chains of addiction, and to rebuild fractured lives.

Together, we are the architects of change. Through our holistic life development program, we address the wounds of the past while nurturing the seeds of a brighter future. We provide not just recovery assistance, but a lifeline of hope. We empower individuals with the tools they need to reclaim their lives, reignite their passions, and reunite with their loved ones.

Imagine the joy of witnessing a family come together again after years of separation. Picture the pride in witnessing someone secure meaningful employment and become self-sufficient. Envision a world where a thriving community embraces every member, regardless of their past.

At Bridging Visions After Prison, we invite you to join us on this transformative journey. We invite you to stand with us as we build bridges of opportunity, compassion, and redemption. Together, let us create a future where second chances are not only given but celebrated.
